Bukowski
April 7, 1925 – July 21, 2015
A Navy Veteran of WW II, Richard was a Seaman First Class serving on the USS Fremont, USS Alpine and USS General John Pope and then a former Welder, Fabricator and Sheet Metal Contractor. He passed away at Buffalo Hospice, in Cheektowaga, New York, at the age of 90.
Richard was the beloved husband of Dolores (nee Skoczylas) Bukowski and devoted father of Paul (Denise) Bukowski, Dianne Bukowski, and Michael (Marcia) Bukowski.
The dearest grandfather of Jason Bukowski, Nathan (Michael Higgins) Bukowski, Andrea (Dan) Grady, Kelsey Bukowski and Alicia Bukowski and loving great grandfather of Liam Grady and Harlo Grady.
Family will be present on Thursday from 5-8 PM at the PIETSZAK FUNERAL HOME, 2400 William St. (near Harlem) where services will be held Friday morning at 8:45 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Gabriel Church located at 5271 Clinton Street, Elma, NY 14059 at 9:30 AM.
Flowers gratefully declined. Memorials are preferred to the American Heart Association.
