Obituary
At the age 88, Son of late Frances Beback and Leon Bartosz. Richard was a US Navy Veteran who served during World War II, former Lift Truck Operator for Peter J. Schmidt in Lancaster, NY and a Retiree of Teamsters Local 558.
The beloved husband of 65 years to Alfreda (nee Chmielewski) Bartosz. Devoted father of Kathleen (Alan) Bohn and Darlene (Roger) Urban Killingbeck and father-in-law of the late James Urban.
Loving grandfather of Jennifer (Eric) Mettert and fond great-grandfather of Kherington.
Dearest brother of Adeline (late John) Grabowski and the late Eleanor (late Joe) Piepszny, Henry (Maria) and Eugene Bartosz, he is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to assemble for a Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Czestochowa Church (2158 Clinton St) Saturday at 9:30 AM.
Burial will be at St. Adalbert's Cemetery in Lancaster at a later date.
