IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Richard "Dick"
R. Domagala
February 11, 1931 – May 25, 2020
A proud Sergeant in the US Marines, Richard Raymond "Dick" Domagala, served in the Korean War from 1951 to 1953. While serving, he received the Korean Service Medal, United Nations Service Medal, and National Defense Service Medals. Dick was a US Mail Carrier at Station "F" for most of his 30 years of service and a former officer in the NALC. Besides being a person who loved tinkering with cars, Dick most enjoyed being able to spend memorable times with his grandchildren at Disney, as well as sitting in his rocking chair and watching the sunset with his old pal "Ralph," his late granddog. He passed away suddenly at Mercy Hospital, in Buffalo, New York, at the age of 89.
Dick was married for over 60 years to the love of his life and childhood sweetheart, his beloved wife Irene F. (nee Dittmer) Domagala.
A devoted father of Mike (Holly) Domagala and loving grandfather of Matt Domagala and Katie Domagala.
The dearest son of late Katherine (Lewandowska) and late Peter Domagala.
He was the dearest brother of late Mildred (late Henry) Fuchs, late Florence (late Howard) Roughead, and late Walter Domagala and was also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Due to current social gathering limitations, private services were held by the immediate family.
Feel free to share with the family any pictures you may have in the Photos section and your condolences in our Guest Book here on Dick's Tribute page.
