Son of the late Janine (nee Kucharski) and Casimer Szalwinski and former engineer at Elrae Industries, of Alden NY, an Automotive Fabrication and Stamping Plant. Dick passed away peacefully at Hospice Buffalo, in Cheektowaga, New York at the age of 76.

The beloved husband of the late Elizabeth "Betty" (nee Ryszkiewicz) Szalwinski and devoted father of Donna (Douglas) Kozuch and Mark (Becky) Szalwinski.

He was the loving grandfather of Ashley Szalwinski and Lucas Szalwinski, Berkeley Kozuch, Bradley Kozuch and Austin Kozuch and dear brother of James (Carol) Szalwinski.

His family will be present to gather with friends on Friday afternoon from 3 to 6 PM at the PIETSZAK FUNERAL HOME, 2400 William St. (near Harlem) were a Celebration of Life Service will be held at 5:30 PM.
