Rita M. Gura was born on Saturday, March 22, 1930 in Buffalo, New York to Michalina (nee Ubermanowicz) and Sebastian Gura.

Rita is the beloved wife of late Eugene Sliwinski.

Devoted mother of Michaeline Sliwinski, Sister Jean Sliwinski CSSF and late Andrew (Dora) Sliwinski.

Loving grandmother of Hannah (Auston) Henninger.

Sister of the late Frank Gura, late Joseph Gura, late Sophie (late Charles) Rodehaver, late Walter Gura, late Helen (late Emil) Olesik, late Fabian, late John (Alberta) Gura and late Theodore (late Mary) Gura.

She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Family will be present on Wednesday, May 22nd from 3-8 PM at the PIETSZAK FUNERAL HOME, 2400 William St. (near Harlem Road).

Relatives and friends are invited to assemble for a Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday at St. Josaphat Parish at 10 AM. Please assemble at the church.

Entombment will follow at St. Stanislaus Cemetery, Cheektowaga, New York.

Rita was a member of the Parish Seniors, Mother's Club and the Cheektowaga Maybells.
