Live Stream link for Mr. Chmielewski's Funeral Mass: Robert Chmielewski's Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Czestochowa Church - Live on Saturday, Nov. 14, 2020, @ 9 AM
A retired Laborer and Maintenance Engineer at Xylem Heat Transfer, ITT Standard, and American Standard, all of Cheektowaga, New York, Robert D. Chmielewski, passed away at Buffalo, General Hospital, in Buffalo, New York, at the age of 68.
Better known as " Bots " to his family and friends, he enjoyed Hunting, Camping with his family, gardening, and cheering on the Buffalo Bills. As he grew in age, he became the Neighborhood People Watcher, spending time, checking things out from his front door, while "rocking to the oldies" by listening to his favorite station 104.1 FM. What really lit him up the most was spending time with his grandsons, Jack and Lucas.
Robert was married to the Love of his life, and best friend, his beloved wife, Cynthia A. (nee Eastman) Chmielewski.
He was the devoted father of Robert J. (Susan) Chmielewski and Robin (Albert James) Stolt and proud grandfather of Jack and Lucas.
The cherished son of the late Victoria and late Edward Chmielewski and the dearest brother of David (Joanne) Chmielewski, the late Carol (late Joe) Borowiak, and the late Norman (Jodi) Chmielewski.
He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
The family will be present on Friday, November 13, 2020, from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the PIETSZAK FUNERAL HOME, 2400 William Street, near Harlem Road.
Relatives and friends are invited to assemble for a Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Czestochowa Church, at 2158 Clinton Street on Saturday, November 14, 2020, at 9 AM.
Please be mindful that face coverings and social distancing will be required at all times during Robert's services. Current capacity restrictions may cause delayed entry. Thank you for your understanding.
