Bob was born on July 31, 1953, to Gladys (nee Sheer) and Howard Gerlach.  Bob loved the outdoors, he enjoyed camping, fishing and hunting.

A retiree from American Axle where he worked as a Millwright Welder.

Beloved husband of Cindy (nee Krajewski) Gerlach.

Devoted father of Jeffrey (Danielle) Gerlach and Julie (Ryan Sweda) Gerlach.

Loving grandfather of Jackson, Ava, Cameron, Maya, and Hayden.

Dearest brother of Howard (Jane) Gerlach, Sandy (David) Pelton, and Richard (Donna) Gerlach and fond brother-in-law of Debbie (late John) Palkowski, Donald (Cindy) Krajewski, Eddie (Ann) Krajewski, Ann (Don Staubitz) Krajewski and Louann (Paul) Robertson and late Linda (Jim) Pilarski.

Many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends also survive Bob.

The family will be present Tuesday, May 16th from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM at the PIETSZAK FUNERAL HOME, 2400 William St. (near Harlem) where services will be held Wednesday, May 17th at 10:30 AM.

Inurnment will take place at St. Adalbert Cemetery in Lancaster, NY.
