A retired Ad Operator for the Buffalo News, Robert J. Nowicki, passed away at Buffalo Mercy Hospital, in Buffalo New York, after a short illness.
A stay-at-home family man, who enjoyed a good friendly game of Texes hold'um Poker, gardening and caring for his home, passed away at the age of 82. He was a member of the Ressurection Church Ushers, Holy Name and was a 3rd Degree Knight with the Father Justin Knights of Columbus Council #5670, in Cheektowaga, New York.
Robert was the beloved husband of Rosemarie (nee Misiak) Nowicki.
The devoted father of Sandra Bolster and David Nowicki, father-in-law of Carl Bolster and loving grandfather of Sara and Daniel Bolster, Montana and Nicholas Nowicki.
A loving son of the late Charlotte Wysocki and late Casimer Nowicki and brother of Arlita (late Theodore) Tyx, Betty (Thomas) Kasprzak.
Dearest son-in-law of the late Walter and Stephania Misiak and brother-in-law of Bernice (Albert) Herman.
He was also survived by
nieces, nephews, and cousins.
The family will be present on Wednesday & Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the PIETSZAK FUNERAL HOME, 2400 William Street (near Harlem) where a prayer service will be held on Friday morning at 9:15 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Resurrection Church, located at Union at Como Park Boulevard, in Cheektowaga, New York at 10 AM.
Interment with Military Honors will follow at St. Adalbert Cemetery, in Cheektowaga, New York.
