Obituary

A Korean Army Veteran, member of the Buddy Knaus Amvets Post #14 and a former Truck Driver at the Chevrolet Foundry, in Tonawanda, New York, Mr. Griffin, passed away peacefully, in Sisters Hospital St. Joseph's Campus, at the age of 87.

He was predeceased by his beloved wife, the late Dorothy (nee Krysiak) Griffin and was the devoted father of Richard (Gale) Griffin, David (Antoinette) Griffin, Ronald (Judi Kaczmarek) Griffin and the late Daniel Griffin.

Roland was the son of the late Mary and Rowland Griffin and dearest brother of Benjamin (Barbara) Griffin, Stanley (Neva) Griffin and the late Edwin (late Mavis) Griffin and dear godson of Terry McKibbin.

He was also survived by six grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Family will be present Monday on 4-8 PM at the PIETSZAK FUNERAL HOME, 2400 William St. (near Harlem.)

Relatives and friends are invited to assemble for a Mass of Christian Burial at St. John Kanty Church, located on Broadway at Swinburne Streets on Tuesday at 10 AM.

Inurnment will be held privately at St. Stanislaus Cemetery, in Cheektowaga, New York.
