Rosemarie Kuminski, beloved wife, devoted mother, and cherished grandmother and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on April 17, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of love and resilience. Born Rosemarie Wojtulski on July 3, 1937, to Leonard and Alexandria Wojtulski, in Buffalo, New York, she lived a life rich with warmth and dedication, touching the hearts of all who knew her.
As a seamstress at M. Wile in Buffalo, Rosemarie’s skilled hands helped create garments with care and precision, and her work was a testament to her meticulous nature and pride in craftsmanship. Yet, it was within the embrace of family where her true spirit shone brightest.
She was the beloved wife of the late Donald Kuminski, sharing a bond that remained eternally in the hearts of her loved ones. Rosemarie was a devoted mother to Robert (Amy) Kuminski, Sharon (Mark, Sr.) Becker, and Greg (Charlene Clarkson) Kuminski. Her nurturing presence shaped the lives of her children with unwavering love and guidance.
Her joy continued through her grandchildren: Jamie Kuminski, Philip Kuminski, Janet (Mike Miceli) Kuminski, Matthew (Sadaf Khorrami) Becker, and Jennifer Cuoco and her great- grandchildren Danica, Adrian, Eloise, Lincoln, Travis, Valencia, Vera and Vienna, who carry forward her memory and kindness. Rosemarie’s warmth extended beyond her immediate family to nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who were graced by her generous heart and gentle spirit.
Rosemarie was preceded in death by her siblings: Frank Wojtulski, Ann Kicinski, and Joseph “Unc” Wojtulski. Their memories live on in her stories and the family traditions she lovingly preserved.
The family will be present to receive friends and relatives on Thursday April 23rd from 2 to 7 PM at the Pietszak Funeral Home, located at 2400 William Street, Cheektowaga, NY 14206. All who knew Rosemarie are invited to assemble for a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Josaphat Parish, located at the corner of William and Peoria Avenue, on Friday, April 24th at 10 AM.
Burial will take place at St. Adalbert Cemetery in Cheektowaga, NY.
Rosemarie's life was a fabric woven with threads of kindness, strength, and unwavering love. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered. We invite you to honor her memory by sharing a picture in our online Photo Album or a favorite memory in our Guest Book on the Tribute page.
