Gronowski
March 7, 1960 – July 22, 2021
The former Sandra M. Stypa was born on Monday, March 7, 1960, to Patricia (nee Plucinski) and late Robert Stypa in Buffalo, New York. A Lifetime resident of Cheektowaga, Sandra attended the former Our Lady Help of Christian Church Grammar School, where she also made her Communion, Confirmation and eventually got Married there to her best friend and the Love of her life, her beloved husband, Ronald Gronowski.
She also attended Maryvale High School, in Cheektowaga. She then worked for over ten years as the Dairy-Frozen Foods Manager, at Tops Markets, when it was located at Genesee and Union Road.
She was also the d evoted mother of Aaron Gronowski and Keith Gronowski. Once the boys grew up she returned back to school attending Bryant & Stratton College and received her degree in Computer Technology. Sandra then worked as a Computer Equipment Salesperson at Ingram Micro, in Amherst, New York, for over 6 years, till she took ill and was not able to return to work.
In her spare time, Sandra enjoyed traveling with her family especially to Maine, the Thousand Islands, or any number of areas with water or a Beach. She also enjoyed computers, the slots at the casino, flower pot plantings, dogs, and all animals in general. She was also the best cook and there were always requests for her Lasagna, Meatballs, her Cheese Cake, Apple Pies, but especially her Homemade Noodles.
Sandra was the dearest sister of Susan (James) Przepasniak and aunt of Ryan Przepasniak and Jason Przepasniak.
The daughter-in-law of late Rose and late Joseph Gronowski and sister-in-law of Sue (Joseph) Balon, Tom Gronowski, Ken Gronowski, Karen Christopher, Jim (Martha) Gronowski, Diane Gronowski, Gail Pimpo, and the late Joe Gronowski.
She is also survived by many other family and friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady Help of Christians Chapel, 4125 Union Road, Cheektowaga on Saturday, July 31, 2021, at 12 Noon. Please assemble at the Chapel.
Inurnment will follow at St. Adalbert's Cemetery, Cheektowaga NY.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Sandra's memory are preferred to the SPCA of Erie County, 300 Harlem Rd, West Seneca, NY 14224
