The former Sophia Zawadiwskyj, a Seamstress at M. Wile and Company, in Buffalo, New York, at the age of 89.

Devoted daughter of the late Domecelia Iwaskiw and Michael Zawadiwskyj.

Beloved wife of late Lubomyr Holowatyj.

Devoted mother of Stephen (Carolyn) Holowatyj, Oksana (Paul) Besstak and Michael (Roma) Holowaty.

Loving grandmother of Daniel, Christina, Dennis, Philip and Amanda and fond step-grandmother of Andrea (Dan), Caroline (Jason) and Tamara (Ricky).

Fond step-great-grandmother of four.

Dearest sister of Daniel (Daria) Zawadiwskyj.

Also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.

Family will be present Monday 5-7 PM at the PIETSZAK FUNERAL HOME, 2400 William St. (near Harlem) where Panachyda Service will be held Monday  at 7 PM and Tuesday at 9:15 AM followed by a Funeral Liturgy at St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Church located at Fillmore and Oneida Streets at 10 AM.
