The former Sophie J. Szyszkowski and Sophie J. Kuwik, passed away peacefully in Englewood Hospice, in Port Charlotte, Florida, at the age of 85.

She was the beloved wife of the late Walter Kuwik, Jr. and the late David Kelm.

The devoted mother of  Walter Kuwik III, Sharon Zientek, Lawrence Kuwik, Natalie Kuwik and Julie (Dominic) Constatine and nine loving grandchildren, including her youngest grandchild Tyler Welsch and eleven great-grandchildren.

Sophie was the dearest sister of Henry (Alice) Szyszkowski, Edward Szyszkowski and the late Jane (late Joseph) Weinholtz, late Florence (late Michael) Guzda, late Irene (late Edward) Czekaj, late Lillian (late Joseph) Bartolotta, late Patricia (late Russell) Vara, late Stanley (late Frances "Patsy") Szyszkowski, late Stephen Szyszkowski and late Chester (late Jennie) Szyszkowski.

Sister-in-law of Alice (late Tony) Tripi and Arlene Kelm and also several nieces and nephews.

Family will be present on Friday from 3-7 PM at the PIETSZAK FUNERAL HOME, 2400 William St. (near Harlem) where Funeral Services will be held on Saturday morning at 9:30AM.

Interment will follow at St. Stanislaus Cemetery.
