September 5, 1924 – August 30, 2018
A WW II Army Veteran and retired factory worker at Westinghouse Co. in Cheektowaga, New York Stanley Mydlarz, passed away peacefully at Elderwood Health Care at Lancaster, at the age of 93.
Stanley, better known as "Tiger" by his friends, enjoyed tinkering in his garage, working with his lathe, and always looking for a new and better camera or electronic device that he could own.
He was the loving son of the late Anna (Ogurek) and Stanislaus Mydlarz, and beloved husband of the late Mineko "Miki" (nee Kasamatsu) Mydlarz, who predeceased him on November 29, 1986.
The dearest brother of Rose Gaskin, Helen (late Leon) Augustynek and the late Stella (late Dan) Poch, late Lottie (late Dan) Noreck, late Anthony (late Victoria) Mydlarz and the late Brownislaus (late Catherine) Mydlarz. He was also survived by 10 nieces and nephews.
The family will be present on Tuesday, September 4th, 2018 from 4-8 PM at the PIETSZAK FUNERAL HOME, 2400 William St. (near Harlem.)
Relatives and friends are invited to assemble for a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Josaphat Parish, located at the corner of William Street at Peoria Avenue, on Wednesday, September 5th, 2018, at 9:30 AM.
Interment with Military Honors will follow at St. Matthew's Cemetery in West Seneca, New York.
