At the age of 67, passed away peacefully at home with his family at his side. He was a US Army Veteran and former Chief Electrician for the City of Buffalo - Division of Water.

The beloved husband of Jean (nee Osiecki) Dabek and devoted father of James Dabek, Susan (Paul) Bajer and Sandra (James) Redman.

A loving grandfather of Emily, Cassandra, Thomas, Andrew, Adrianna, Aaron, Benjamin and Jacob.

Stephen was the dear brother of Joseph (Denise) Dabek, William (late Carol) Dabek, and Darlene (Mike) Chilelli and was also survived by sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews.

Family will be present on Wednesday evening from 7-9 PM and on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the PIETSZAK FUNERAL HOME, 2400 William St. (near Harlem.)

Relatives and friends are invited to assemble for a Mass of Christian Burial at St. John Kanty Church (Broadway at Swinburn St) on Friday at 9:30 AM .

Entombment will follow at St. Stanislaus Cemetery Marian Mausoleum.
