A retired Firefighter with the Buffalo Fire Department, Stephen P. Hajduk, passed away at South Buffalo Mercy Hospital, in Buffalo NY, at the age of 79.

Stephen was the beloved husband and partner of Florence (nee Pirog) Hajduk for almost 60 years.

He was the devoted father of Kenneth (Darlene) Hajduk, Norine Hajduk-Godzich, Lawrence (Kristine) Hajduk, Lori Lynn (Bruce) Stisser and Thomas (Stacy) Hajduk.

The loving grandfather of Jason (Jamie) and Kristen Hajduk, Allison, Steven and Nicholas Godzich, Alex and Zach Hajduk, Kayla and Kelsey Olejniczak, Thomas, Jr., Tyler and Camden Hajduk and great grandfather of Xavier.

The dearest brother of Peter J. Hajduk and also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

The family will be present on Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the PIETSZAK FUNERAL HOME, 2400 William St. (near Harlem) where services will be held on Thursday morning at 9 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Josaphat Parish at 9:30 AM.

Inurnment will take place at a later date.
