Stephen proudly served his country in the United States Air Force, a commitment that reflected his sense of duty and honor. He later spent his working years as a security officer at Doctors of Hollywood in Florida, serving with quiet dedication and steadfast care.

Beloved husband of Mary Ann (née Militello) Hatfield. A devoted and loving father of Jason (Kelly) Hatfield. Stepgen was a proud grandfather whose heart was filled with joy by Benjamin and Natalie Hatfield. Cherished son of Carolyn and the late John Hatfield. Treasured brother-in-law of Thomas (Annette) Militello, Lawrence (Daisy) Militello, Michael (Donna) Militello, James (Nancy) Militello, and Richard (Holly) Militello.

He leaves behind a legacy of love, service, and gentle memories, carried on by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and all whose lives he touched.
