Teresa was born on Thursday, October 14, 1954 to Stefania (nee Sobczak) and Jan Szymczyk in Poland.

She was the devoted mother of Izabella (Dariusz) Karmilowicz.

A loving grandmother of Maya (fiancé Alec Zimmerman) and Alexa and a fond great-grandmother of Tessa V. Vanyo.

Dearest sister of Helena Swat-Dobrowolski, Jadwiga (late Marian) Kochel, late Edward (late Janina) Szymczyk and Bogdan (Roza) Szymczyk.

She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Family will be present on Monday, June 23rd from 6-8 PM at the PIETSZAK FUNERAL HOME, 2400 William Street, near Harlem Road.

Relatives and friends are invited to assemble for a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Stanislaus Parish, corner of Peckham St at Wilson St on Tuesday morning at 10 AM. Please assemble at the Church.

Burial will follow at St. Stanislaus Cemetery, Cheektowaga, New York.

Flowers are gratefully declined.
