Thomas George Burgard was born on Tuesday, January 23, 1940 to Flora (nee Weitz) and William Burgard in Buffalo, New York.  He was the proud owner of Sentry North Appliance Service in Amherst, New York.

Thomas was the beloved husband of 63 years to Christine (nee Mank) Burgard.

Dearest father of Glenn Burgard, late Mark Burgard and late Scott Burgard.

Loving grandfather of Adam Burgard and Sydney Burgard.

Dear brother of Bill (Kathy) Burgard, Pat (Mike) Duch, Barbara (Don) Castine and the late Ann (Wayne) Harlach and late Mary Lou (Dave) Przybyla.

He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Services were held privately by the family.
