Obituary
A Marine Corps veteran of the Vietnam War, passed away unexpectedly at the Buffalo VA Medical Center, in Buffalo, New York at the age of 69. He graduated from the University of Illinois at Chicago Circle in 1973. The family wishes to thank Kathy Morris and the staff at the Buffalo VA, where Tom found many friends and much support.
Tom was the beloved son of the late Thomas and Mary Ruh. Loving brother of Mary Agnes (Roland) Madden of Boulder, CO and Kathleen (James) Peterson of Barrington, IL and the dear uncle of many nieces and nephews.Visitation will take place on Saturday at the M.J. SUERTH FUNERAL HOME, 6754 N. Northwest Highway, Chicago, from 9:30 AM until the time of prayers at 11:00 AM. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at his boyhood Church, Saint Juliana's (Touhy and Oketo Aves) Chicago, at 11:30 AM.
Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorials to PFP (peoplefundingpeople.org) or the VFW appreciated.
