At the age of 101, Ulana was born on June 11, 1921, in Ukraine. She was the devoted daughter of the late Natalia (nee Bojczeniuk) and Ivan Figlus. Ulana was the Former President of the Ukrainian National Women's League of America Branch 49 in Buffalo, NY.

Ulana was a beloved wife of the late Mykhaylo Loza, PhD.

Devoted mother of Roman, PhD. (Rosemary) and Dr. Borys (Sandra) Loza.

Loving grandmother of Christine (Greg), Andrew (Emily), Laryssa (Matt), Michael, Matthew, John and Ulana.

Fond great grandmother of Benjamin, Mary, Elizabeth and Oliver.

Dearest sister of the late Bohdan (Maria) Figlus and dear aunt of Denine (late Myron) Kossowsky.

Family will be present Tuesday 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the PIETSZAK FUNERAL HOME, 2400 William St. (near Harlem) where Panachyda Service will be held Tuesday at 7:30 PM and Wednesday at 8:15 AM followed by a Funeral Liturgy at St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Church at 9 AM .

Interment will follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery, in Cheektowaga, New York.
