Valorie was born on Thursday, February 10, 1955, to the late Phyllis (nee Christbaum) and Richard Mourgas in Montgomery, Alabama.

Valorie worked for over 40 years and was the owner for over 30 years at the  Broadway Insurance Agency in Buffalo, New York. In her earlier years, she raised and showed bulldogs, and was amazing in the kitchen ~ creating desserts, and baking and decorating cakes for all occasions. She was also a  member of the Buffalo Suzuki Strings parent association.

Valorie was the beloved wife of Peter A. Pelczynski.

A devoted mother of Kate (Andy) Walker.

Dearest sister of Nicholas (Marie) Mourgas.  Proud aunt of Gianna Mourgas and best friend for over 42 years with Debbie Wilson and Lisa Lecastre.

The family will be present on Thursday, April 27, 2023, from 4-8 PM at the PIETSZAK FUNERAL HOME, 2400 William Street, near Harlem Road.

Relatives and friends are invited to assemble for a Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Bistrica Church, 1619 Abbott Road, Lackawanna, New York 14218, on Friday morning at 10 AM.
