The former Victoria Kocielniak, originally from Sloan, New York, better know as Vicky went peacefully into the hands of our Heavenly Father Monday night at the Mercy Hospice Care Unit in Iowa City, Iowa.

Beloved wife of the late Edward Gluszak who predeceased her on August 14, 2002.

A devoted mother of Betty (Don) Kobiela, and Cathy (Brian) Hunt and loving grandmother of Meghan (James Baus, fiance) and  Ali Hunt Au.D., and  Alyx and Lauryn Kobiela.

Victoria was the loving daughter of the late Karolina (nee Fiermuga) and the late Jozef Koscielniak, who both predeceased her.

The dearest sister of Emily (late Frank) Janusz and the late Edward (late Anna) Koscielniak.

As well as the sister-in-law of Freda (Tom) Suchy, Rita (late Gene) Pawlowski and the late Bernard (late Irene) Gluszak, late Alice (late Stanley) Maslowski, late Dorothy (late Ed) Kamysz, late Henry (late Helen) Gluszak, late Adele (late Ed) Bielecki and the late William Gluszak.

She was also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and cousins.

The family also wishes to express their heartfelt thanks to Vicky's home health care aides, Pathways Adult Day  Health Center and Iowa City Hospice for all their loving care.

Family will be present to receive friends on Friday, January 13 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the PIETSZAK FUNERAL HOME, 2400 William Street (near Harlem Road.)

A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, January 14 at 9:30 AM at Corpus Christi Church, located at 189 Clark Street, in Buffalo, New York 14212.

Entombment will follow at St. Stanislaus Cemetery, in Cheektowaga, New York.
