Obituary
At the age of 94, a former Mail Carrier for the United States Postal Service and Army Veteran of WWII.
Family will be present Wednesday 4 - 8 PM at the PIETSZAK FUNERAL HOME, 2400 William St. (near Harlem) where a Funeral Service will be held Thursday at 10 AM.
Beloved son of the late Mary and Vincent Podgorny and dearest brother of the late Bertha Podgorny, late Josephine (late Thaddeus) Suchan and late Edward (late Rose) Podgorny.
Walter was the devoted companion of Adrienne C. Smith and father to Allan (late Sue), Adrienne and late Andrew Smith and Dzia Dzia to Matthew and Melissa.
Loving uncle of Edward Suchan, Dorothy (Al) Albright, James (Rita) Podgorny and Daniel (Rita) Podgorny.
and also survived by great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great-nieces and great-gteat-nephews.

A Memorial Mass will be held at
St. Andrew's Church
(Crocker at Reiman Sts., in Sloan, NY)
Monday, April 15 at 1 PM

Interment will follow at St. Stanislaus Cemetery, Cheektowaga, NY, in the Family Plot.
Walter was a life member of the American Legion Adam Plewacki Post # 799 and longtime parishioner at the former Sts. Rita & Patrick Church, Buffalo, NY
