Obituary

Walter Joseph was born on Monday, June 30, 1941 to Eugenia (nee Kon) and Walter H. Przepasniak, in Buffalo, New York.

Walter was the beloved husband of Linda (nee Szafarski).

Devoted father of Kate (Matthew) Grabowski, Jeffrey (Connie) Przepasniak, Justin (Andrea) Przepasniak, Mary Jo Bishop and Amy (Thomas) Breski and devoted step-father of the late Brian Przybyl.

Loving grandfather of Cameron Grabowski, Oliver Grabowski, Chloe Przepasniak, Alexander Przepasniak, Henry Przepasniak, Bailey Bishop, Elizabeth Bishop, William Breski and Morgan Breski.  A g reat-grandfather of three.

Walter was the brother of Cynthia Rizzuto, Mariclare Lafferty, late Jerome Przepasniak and the late Eugenia Brown.

He was also a cousin of Sister Johnice Rzadkiewicz, CSSF.  He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Family will be present on Friday, October 18th from 3-7 PM at the PIETSZAK FUNERAL HOME, 2400 William St., near Harlem Road.

Relatives and friends are invited to assemble for a Mass of Christian Burial at St. John XXIII Parish (corner of Harlem Rd. at Arcade) on Saturday, October 19, 2024, at 10 AM.

Burial will follow at St. Matthew's Cemetery, in West Seneca, New York.

Walter was an Air Force Veteran who served during the Vietnam War.  He also worked as a Public Servant for 37 years. He was a member of the Directors and Legion of Honor of Ismailia Shriners of Buffalo and member of Wiechec's Social Athletic Club.
