At the age of 70, a loving son of the late Betty (nee Kayler) and late Edward Smith.

Dearest brother of Edward (Rosemarie), David (Helen) Smith, Margaret Cornroy, Shirley (late Jeffrey) Makuch, Julianna (Paul) Simon, Theresa (Kevin) Goldfuss and Lynn (James) Watson.

Walter is also survived by Kimberly (Scott) Prenatt, and many nieces, nephews and friends.

The family will be present Thursday from 5-7 PM at the Pietszak Funeral Home 2400 William St. (near Harlem).
