IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Zenon
Derhak
January 1, 1928 – October 31, 2018
A retired Designer Draftsman, at the former A.E. Anderson Engineering, in Cheektowaga, New York, Zenon Derhak, passed away at Sisters of Charity Hospital, St. Joseph Campus, in Cheektowaga, New York, at the age of 90.
Zenon had golden hands and a golden heart and was always ready to help friends and neighbors. His quick humor and the friendly smile turned strangers into new friends. His cool name was a great icebreaker whether people called him Zen, Zenko or Zenon. He will be deeply missed by all whose lives he touched with his kindness, generosity and caring actions.
Zenon was very active in the Ukrainian Community and was a member of Ukrainian American Civic Center, Dnipro Ukrainian Cultural Center, Plast Priat,
and the former Burlaky Choir of Buffalo, New York, as well as many other Cultural and Ethnic Groups, throughout the Western New York area.
The loving son of the late Eugenia and Damian Derhak and beloved husband of Jaroslawa (nee Rygajlo) Derhak.
He was the devoted father of Adrian (Martha) Derhak and Dianna Derhak and brother of Doreen Zawadiwskyi.
At Mr. Derhak's request, there will be no prior visitation.
